NARS And God Created The Woman Palette

I have been contemplating purchasing this palette ever since I bought NARS The Happening Palette however, due to its limited edition status, it disappeared once I finally decided that I wanted it. Or was it that once it disappeared I realised I needed it? (Damn you Limited Edition!)

When flicking through SpaceNK online I found it back in stock, still available here. So I snatched it up before it got away from me again! The palette contains 6 eyeshadows plus a sample of the Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base and a mini Eye Shader Brush #3.

What was shocking was seeing just how teeny this palette is! Only just bigger than the size of a credit card. This could be seen as a con however I think the size is great for travelling or just having in your hand-bag if your one to grab a drink after work as it provides great day-to-night shades!

The palette contains 5 eyeshadows:
Alhambra - "Metallic rose mist". Champagne shimmer with light pink/rosy understones.
Bellissima - "Matte grey-brown".  A cool grey-taupe shade with purple/brown undertones. Very minute and subtle sparkle.
Kalahari - "Gold confection". Very pink gold with slight coppery tones.

Galapagos - "bitter chocolate infused with gold". A warm rich brown with yellow understones and gold sparkle.

Coconut Grove - "deep brown infused with reflections". Rich dark brown with very small and subtle sparkle.
Night Clubbing - "Black with gold pearl". Rich jet black with gold sparkle

This palette is great for minimal day looks and intense smokey night looks. It is very neutral has great pigmentation so even though it may seem small, a dip of the brush is all that is needed, especially with the darker shades! The name is perhaps what sold it for me And God Created The Woman - Et Dieu Crea La Femme. A classic Brigitte Bardot film with shades to re-create that classic Bardot eye (a girl can only deam to look like her, eh?) Overall, a great and classic palette which is pretty timeless.

What do you think of Nars And God Created The Woman Palette?
