Review - Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector

Rarely comes a time when "matte" means oil control. Usually I have found "matte" make-up products to mean powdery or matte... for now. Becca however have kept their promise with the name "ever-matte". This primer is a must have for any oily skinned gals!

This is my Summer must have. This primer is fast drying and controls oil throughout the day. I have tested this on oily days and have tested this on warmer days and it has kept my face normal. NO MORE OIL. It doesn't do much on the smoothing, brightening or perfecting front however if your issue is oil then this is for you. It feels a little weird to apply as it is almost gel-like however doesn't smooooth onto the skin. Rather it sinks and soaks into the skin so I would recommend you work fast with this. I like to use this strategically on the t-zone to keep oil at bay and if necessary to use a perfecting primer on the rest of my face. For £28 it may seem steep however this has worked better than most mattifying moisturisers on the market and is necessary for me, especially with a holiday and warmer climates on the horizon!

Available at Space NK £28.

Have you tried Becca Ever-Matte Pore Perfecting Primer?

  2. I am fast becoming a becca obsessive. I haven't tried the resurfacing one, maybe when I use up one of my many primers I shall invest and test it out! :) x
