Review - Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch

A much raved about product is the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch. When I opt for a primer it is usually something brightening, mattifying or log-lasting. However there are the times when I want my skin to be silky smoooth, focusing on the cheeks so that my foundation buffs in better and any bumps and dry patches are smoothed over. In a Clarins gift set I received the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch so after a few applications I do have a few thoughts on it.

It is quite small however little is needed. The texture is almost like a mousse and is transparent on the skin. It does smooth over the skin to give a nice base for make-up and I think this would be amazing for people with dry skin as it softens the skin without making it feel too heavy like other smoothing primers. For oilier skins I still think this is a nice primer as it smooths and softens the skin without leaving it feeling tacky or greasy. It does not add much longevity to my make-up so is not used if I want my make-up to stay in place for several hours but for me is best for the natural make-up look to give my skin a smooth and flawless finish.

I do enjoy using this product however in these warmer months am not finding myself reaching for it as much however it will certainly be one for the colder Christmas months when my skin gets a little more dehydrated and chapped. An option for the summer would be the Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tanning which is the same product but with a hint of self tan to provide your skin with a healthy radiant sun-kissed glow!

Have you tried Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch?
