There are times when you buy a product that are near identical that gets you wondering which product comes out on top? The Nude Miracle Mask and the Soap and Glory Scrub Your Nose In It are both gentle exfoliators/masks that exfoliate your skin manually (with small, gentle particles) and chemically (using AHA's/BHA's).

Nude Miracle Mask

Price: £38
Packaging: 75ml encased in a hard plastic tube
Main Ingredients: Rice Germ Powder (scrub particles), Glycolic Acid (chemical exfoliant), Rice Protein
Texture: A light gel texture with soft exfoliating rice beads
Use: To get maximum effects, apply onto wet skin and massage in circular movements, avoiding the eye area. Once you have massage in the beads and you can feel the acids tingling, leave on for upto five minutes then massage off in circular movements with warm water.
Outcome: Brightened, soft and clean skin. Great for those who are looking for fast exfoliation. Not suitable to sensitive skin types, perhaps most suited to mature skin.

Score: A great quick-fix job but at a high price. 7/10
- minus three for: the price, the effort (it doesn't work as well on dry skin or some serious massaging into the skin) and the packaging.

Soap and Glory Scrub Your Nose In It

Price: £9
Packaging: 100ml encased in a soft, plastic tube
Ingredients: Kaolin (clarifying clay), Willow Bark Extract (clarifying and pore refining properties), Fruit, Citrus and Sugar Extracts (exfoliants)
Texture: A light creamy texture with fine scrub particles
Use: This is a more versatile product in the sense that it will work well as a light scrub, or you can gently massage it into the skin then leave it on for a couple of minutes so that the fruit acids can get to work then massage back off with warm water.
Outcome: Clean, baby soft skin. Great for those with textured skin or want a gentle yet extremely effective multi-use product.

Score: The price plus the results gives this a tremendous 9/10
- why not 10/10? It was only lacking in the brightening department.

Have you tried either of these products?

  1. I haven't tried either of those, but I'll definitely take a look at the Soap & Glory one! Sounds like a good deal and I generally love the brand.

    1. Soap and Glory are a great brand and I hear a lot on the blogosphere about certain products giving you baby soft skin but this time, it is true. I am rarely wowed or shocked by products but this one shocked me, it delivers such great results!
